Wasteland

Wasteland is the second part of Gary Clarke’s Thatcher Trilogy. Gary Clarke Company, UK Tour 2018-2022.

Choreographed by Gary Clarke, and designed by Ryan Dawson-Laight. Associate design and costume supervising by me.

As a sequel to COAL, Wasteland tells the story of the rave culture that developed in the 90s, after the coal mines closed down. Alongside the company of 5 professional dancers, Wasteland uses 4 local male singers, and 2 local brass players, that change at each venue. Part of my role is to re-costume each new cast for each performance.
